Instrumented Battle Training System
- Being developed under IDEX OC 8.0 for Garud Commandos Special Forces, Indian Air Force
- Force on Force Training is presently done by Indian forces using paintball guns, which do not resemble actual weapons and are only useful for short distances
- Under IDEX, we are developing a laser based Force on Force Training System on par with the systems being used by US and NATO forces
- Presently at the end of Milestone 3, the project development is expected to be completed by end of 2025 and undergo trials in end-2025 to mid-2026
- This will be the first and only such system on par with the equipment being used by US and NATO forces
